Real Life Documentation Is A Reincarnation Primer

Dr. Weiss decides to hypnotize a young woman patient he has been unable to adequately help in conventional ways. He is shaken when she begins to relate details of a past life. They repeat the hypnotism weekly thereafter and she reveals many past lives, sharing personal experiences and particular cultural information she would have no way of knowing. Dr. Weiss is stunned when, in one session, she discusses something very personal about his family life that he has never mentioned to her.

Of course, the subject matter makes for fascinating reading, and the young woman is helped by the process. In many ways, she and Dr. Weiss are able to understand why she is fearful of certain situations and also her motivations in others.

The book is limited in scope to the narrations and dialogue of the sessions only, and does not delve into the mystery and vast research involving reincarnation. It's like a tease - to make you want to know more. Two interesting aspects that do come to light in the book are the peacefulness of death itself (the release of the soul, not the process of dying, which can be quite painful and traumatic) and the reincarnation of souls in family groups. I had some knowledge of the latter from previous reading and the idea is very comforting to most people. Basically, the "evidence" is that souls may wait for other family members and friends to pass on and they then re-enter the world in ways and locations where they can closely re-connect again and again. The relationships may be different, but the familial and friend relationships are often quite close. For example, I could have been my mother's sister in a past life. I do find this intriguing since I've always been curious about how we often meet "new" people, yet seem to have an instant connection to them.

An easy an interesting read if you are curious about the subject.

Life Changing Book

This book is life-changing. Coming from a place where I wasn't sure about reincarnation, this book really opened my mind to the possibility. I've always felt like I had "been here before," and have odd affinity toward certain religious symbols or places, and perhaps it's because I've known them before. Whether or not you believe in reincarnation, this book will put a sense of peace within in your soul. Since you're here reading the reviews: buy it. You won't regret this. I couldn't put this book down and look forward to reading it again.

I recently lost my son after years of progressive body degeneration from a rare disease. This book helped me cope with the terrible suffering I witnessed. We became familiar with muck of the UM staff over the years.
This book has made me a spiritual man. I recommend it highly for anyone who has lost a child( the worst hurt of all)

"An eye for an eye......a sister for a sister"!

Again Daniel Caruana's sister had fallen in love and would her brother have to pay him off like the others? Not until he found out its Jake Fletcher, a man he hates, a man he holds responsible for the death of a woman he loved. Now he's faced with Jake's sister Sophie Turner, the wedding planner and a woman who wants the best for her brother and his bride. Could Trish Morey pull this off and give them a happy ending.........you bet!

So how would author address this dilemma and since the wedding was immediate, how would they deal with the family issues and their mutual attraction? Throw in the beautiful secluded island located in Queensland, a posh resort with a horrible thing to about to happen, Daniel would as he had in the past, try to pay off Jake Fletcher NOT to marry his sister. He hated Jake, they had a past and he would not allow Monica's marriage to happen.

Sophie Turner not only was the sister of a man he hated, she was his sister's wedding planner and a woman he desired. His plan was to stop the wedding, could he pretend to be in compliance with the plans and in the end halt the process? You bet and then some.....did he have a plan? First of all, he wanted Sophie where he could control the wedding planning plus bed her. However, he had a grander plan. Buy off her brother who was his arch enemy. It had worked before with Monica's other boyfriends so he was sure it would work with Jake. Why did he hate Jake, Sophie's brother? They had not only a competitive past; Daniel blamed Jake for his fianc�e Emma's death.

It was all too much while trying to mend fences between Daniel and her brother. It was obvious Daniel hated Jake and absolutely didn't want his sister to marry. However, what lengths would he go to stop the wedding? Buy out the venue, offer Jake money to stop the wedding, bed his sister? Yes to all three. Daniel, Jake and Daniel's security man Jo all had a past, they grew up together, went to high school together. Jo hated Jake almost as much as Daniel, so he agreed to again offer Monica's boyfriend or in this case fianc� money. Jo, well let's just say, was a bit snake and soon to slither out from under his rock.

I adore a tormented alpha and that's exactly whom Daniel was yet I could also feel his emotions crumbling towards Sophie, the woman he didn't want to like, only use. However, while he had her on his island, had control of her and the wedding plans, he thought why not take it a step further and have a short affair. Did I agree with his tactics.....no. Did I want to see the tables turned...definitely yes! Obviously he adored his sister, had taken care of her after their parents had died and he was sure her fianc�, Jake was only using her. He was so wrong on all counts and so much more

The word angst described it all especially the ending chapters. I looked up the word and its definition was as follows: "anguish, torment, anxiety, trouble, sorrow, worry, fear"........let's just say It's exactly what happens on all counts! Not just for the happy couple Jake and Monica but also for their respective siblings it all ends horribly. Could all of their relationships be salvaged and could there be a wedding?

Well Ms. Trish Morey, you've done it again with Reckless in Paradise, explosive, secrets, lies, passion but you also gave your hero a very valuable lesson, one that Sophie taught him. Sophie taught him "that the bonds of love were stronger than the chains of hate. She also taught him the love wasn't about control." Sophie taught Daniel if he truly loved her, he would have to let her go and hopefully she would return to him because she wanted him! Happy ending? Yes, not only for his sister Monica and Jake but also for the two of them, in paradise!

*****CAUTION POTENTIAL SPOILERS*****

Daniel is adamant that he will prevent his precious sister from marrying Sophie's murderous, cheating, brother, and he will stop at nothing to prevent it too!

So the set-up is Sophie is a wedding planner hired by Monica and Jake to plan their wedding. Monica feels she is all grown up and can marry whomever she sees fit, however when push comes to shove she enlists Sophie to beard the lion in his den, Daniel. Daniel is such a great brother, he pays off his sisters BFs to walk away thereby protecting her from heartache - problem being that little serpent (Jo) in paradise may have been double dealing more than Daniel knows. You see, Daniel doesn't like Jake because he believes that Jake wanted to be HIM when they were younger and that Jake partook of his woman, left a bun, and then was the cause of her dying in a car accident YEARS ago!! This woman was the love of Daniel's young life - keep that in mind because to me it shows that Daniel KNOWS WHAT LOVE IS!!

Daniel comes up w/ a plan to pay off Jake AND help himself to Jake's sister as well - a bit of an eye for an eye. He also "practically BOASTED" to Sophie that he would pay off Monica's BF over the years - doesn't seem concerned w/ what this does to her self-esteem. Sophie's potential venue is booked, Daniel orchestrated it but denies it when questioned, and he offers up his island anyway. Sophie should be grateful she has a venue now - she had one but he took it away! Sophie is a great judge of character, but she trusts him at his word and when he seems to be completely innocent she apologizes to him. Daniel lies another time as well, but he claims the first as a lie by omission and the second a little white lie. Guess that makes it all okay. They are together for a while for a flimsy reason but this is an HP and you just go w/ it, right? It would appear that Daniel believes that Sophie is the BEST and this leads to love. This guy claimed to love girl from past but he NEVER slept w/ her....

Drama goes down, Sophie saves self - guy should've been on first boat off as Daniel promised early on, but then this guy is a known liar, Daniel claims Sophie the best he ever had. Yes he said that, but it didn't seem to faze her much so he tosses in ILY and she still says he has to let her walk away...then she ruins it w/ give her some time. The END!! Unfortunately there was an epilogue that was tossed in to tie up everything and give them a HEA, but the problem was that she acted as though all he did was horrible and then suddenly she has some split personality and feels betrayed because he didn't call her. Then the ILYs are exchanged and the real ending finished.

Horrible Waste of Time

The end of the book should have been chapter 2, maybe 3. The epilogue should have been the end of the book - and the book needed a whloe new plot.

Anger and resentment carry chapter after chapter, with no hope of resolution. It made me hate the hero, and groan with frusturation the entire time.

This is two hours of my life that I'll never get back - and some of the worst reading... :-(
