Sing the Faith Accompaniment Edition

I had ordered this for use with my choir as the pew edition often didn't have choral parts display, whereas the accompaniment edition does..pricey,, but it is a good alternative source for introits, amens, benedictions and anthems. The printed information is great...it is a nice collection of hymns and songs, but it comes unbound...no binder of any kind, just loose pages. This was not mentioned in the details about the product, so I was surprised to receive the hymnals without any cover or binding, which was surprising as the two previous accompaniment hymnals I had already purchased several years ago from another source, came bound in a spiral type binder. So I had to go out and purchase several 3-ring binders into which to place all of the pages. The resultant binder can be a little cumbersome to hold while singing, but the pages can be removed and replaced when thru using them, which may be why it wasn't bound in the first place, however, for $50 a piece, I would have expected them to include some sort of binder none-the-less, or at least to mention this in the details section of the product.

Great accompaniment edition !!!!!

I have been wanting a Presbyterian hymnal that has guitar cords for ever!!! I use the hymnal for when I sing solos and play the guitar in church. This is a great supplement to the regular large hymnal. I am waiting for the large Presbyterian pew hymnal to have a guitar accompaniment as the Lutheran pew hymnals.

Terrific resource for Presbyterian Musicians

It is TRUE ... it does NOT come in a binder. Fortunately, my supply of 3 ring binders is pretty much inexhaustible, so I just popped it in there. The holes (fortunately) are punched for standard 3 ring binders. This is the new Presbyterian Hymnal and an accompaniment edition is pretty much required if one plays an instrument. If you own this, you won't have any problems. An excellent production of the product.
